Greg is a qualified accountant and has worked within the financial services industry since 1987, and has been a compliance and risk management professional since 1994.

Greg has held a number of senior management roles in both product provider and advisory sectors, and has held significant influence functions in ‘Top 20’ IFA firms. Most recently, Greg was Chief Operating Officer with one of the UK’s largest and most successful distributors.

 

Recent successful assignments include the development and implementation of an FSA relationship and engagement strategy for a major insurer; and the definition, development and implementation of complaints quality assurance and training & competence processes for application across all distribution channels within a High Street Bank.

First and foremost, Greg is a businessman. He believes passionately in the need for a healthy and successful retail sector, and that the regulatory system should empower rather than disenfranchise customers.
